Selena Gomez is only days away from turning 19, she turns the trick July 22, 2011, and in what may be one of her final interviews as an 18-year-old she told ‘Girls Life’ magazine that she is happy being in love. Given Gomez is dating Justin Bieber that reflects well on him and it suggests that things between her and the 17-year-old Canadian singer continue to go well.
While she praised love she did make it sound as if for her that being in love has not all been a bed of roses. She also implied you must make certain your partner adds to who you are as a person and she offered advice to any who might also be in love. All in all, she sounds pretty mature for someone so young. “Love is beautiful,” she told Girls Life. “It’s hard but so wonderful. You should enjoy it and make sure the person betters you. I’ve been told I keep my heart guarded. My advice is to have fun and to be prepared for anything.”
